Anjuman Gulzar E Qasimi · Allahabad (Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh, India
Version 1.0 · Effective —

1. Who we are

Anjuman Gulzar E Qasimi, established 2024, is a community organisation of the Shia Muslim community in Allahabad (Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh, India.

We are an unregistered association of persons. We hold no society or trust registration number. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, this makes no difference to our duties to you: we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below, and every obligation in this policy applies to us in full.

Reach us at razaair01@gmail.com for anything in this policy.

2. What we collect, and why

WhatWhy we need it
Full nameTo identify you as a member and address you correctly
Email addressSign-in, password reset, and notice of your membership decision
Phone numberSo the committee can contact you, including before approving your application
Postal addressTo confirm you are part of this community
Year of birth onlyTo confirm you are 18 or over. We deliberately never collect a full date of birth
Profile photograph (optional)Only if you choose to add one
Family members (name and relation only)If you list them. We never collect a child's email, phone, photograph or year of birth
Device notification tokenTo send you notices about majalis, if you allow notifications

3. Your consent, purpose by purpose

The DPDP Act has no "legitimate interests" basis. Everything we do rests on your consent, and we ask for it separately for each purpose — a single all-or-nothing box would not be valid consent for any of them.

PurposeWhat it coversWithdraw?
Membership recordHolding the details above so you can be a memberThis is the basis for everything else, so withdrawing it means deleting your account — see §7
Push notificationsSending you notices about majalis and announcementsAny time, in Settings
Gallery appearanceYour image appearing in community photographs in the appAny time, in Settings
Directory listingBeing visible to the committee in the member directoryAny time, in Settings
Age declarationYour statement that you are 18 or overRequired to hold an account

Withdrawing a consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately. We keep a record of each consent and withdrawal — what you agreed to, in which language, and when — because the law requires us to be able to show it.

4. Who else sees your data

Nobody outside this organisation. We do not sell, share, rent or publish the member list or the gallery. There is deliberately no export button in the admin tools.

We use these service providers to run the app:

ProviderWhat they holdWhere
Google Firebase — Firestore and StorageYour membership record, photographs, contentMumbai, India (asia-south1)
Google Firebase — Authentication and messagingYour email address, password (hashed by Google — we never see it), notification tokenOperated by Google, including outside India

5. Your rights

We answer within 30 days.

6. How long we keep it

7. Deleting your account

In the app: Settings → Delete my account. It is immediate and cannot be undone.

If you can no longer sign in, use the account deletion page.

Deleted: your name, email, phone, address, year of birth, photograph, favourites, notification tokens and your application. Retained: the consent record described in §6.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, write to razaair01@gmail.com. Your complaint is read by a member of the managing committee.

We acknowledge within 72 hours and resolve within 30 days.

If we do not resolve it to your satisfaction, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Children

This app is for adults. You must be 18 or over to hold an account, and you declare this when you register. Children are recorded only as a name and relation on a parent's own record — never with an email, phone number, photograph or year of birth, and never with an account of their own.

10. Security, and a breach

Your data is protected by server-side authorisation rules that we test automatically before every release, encrypted transport, and access limited to committee admins. Every admin action is recorded against the person who took it.

If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India within 72 hours of becoming aware, in plain language.

11. Donations

Donations are received under the name Gulzar e Qasimi.

Donations may be used by the Anjuman for charitable, religious, educational, community welfare, administrative, and other lawful activities.

Donations are voluntary. They are not payment for any product or service, and they unlock nothing in the app — no badge, no feature, no content. We collect no payment information: the app shows a QR code and a UPI ID, and the payment happens entirely inside your own banking or UPI app, which we never see.

12. Cookies and tracking

None. This page sets no cookies and loads nothing from anywhere else. The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking of any kind.

13. Changes

If this policy changes materially we will tell you in the app and ask for your consent again where the law requires it. The version number and date at the top always reflect the current text.
